The Fjærland fjord in winter:
In winter, the fjord is deserted with avalanches and abandoned without humans and life. Only deer and eagles trying to survive the winter fjord landscape. This is the ultimate ‘slow travel’ experience—a true return to real roots! Time stands still here. Reflections as we travel by the boat. The fjord light makes your toes freeze, giving you a real Viking feeling and a longing for a warm campfire at the hotel.
The ultimate digital detox: Finding mindfulness in the fjords
The mental benefit of the journey:
This journey is designed as an escape, allowing you to be truly free from daily worries and distractions. By stepping away from screens and into the raw landscape of the Sognefjord, you achieve genuine mindfulness and find yourself entirely present in the moment.
You will feel a profound sense of gratitude and tranquility. Whether it’s sunshine, rain, or a gentle breeze, the elements encourage you to simply exist and connect deeply with the natural world—a rare luxury in modern life.
This disconnection allows for authentic reconnection—both with nature and your inner self. It’s an experience that fosters happiness and presence, while still allowing for nostalgic reflection. This is the constant pull of the open water: the chance to explore something new and unknown, while simultaneously finding clarity about life back home.
Seize your Norse heritage. Secure your place on the fjord today. The adventure won’t wait.
