Captain Tor helps you with smaller transport and stand-by assignments requiring boat assistance. We have experience with film and photo production in the Sognefjord.
Captain Tor and the vessel "Miss Fjords" have experience with most things. Contact us by email and give us a context of what you need. We are happy to help with solutions. Typical assignments are crew transport for line clearing, towing and towing, plumbing work on water pipes, standby and handling for photo and film production in the Sognefjord.
The price is per hour, NOK 1250 + VAT and runs from Balestrand marina + the actual assignment with a possible pick up point in Sognefjorden where you will be picked up + any standby and until we have returned to Balestrand Marina after completing the assignment.
A typical assignment costs from approximately NOK 2500 - 25,000 NOK (minimum 2 hours)+ vat
Depending on the assignment, consultation/ and expertise and tools, rope drag etc. can/will be an additional cost
You pay by card on our provided terminal and you receive an electronic receipt on your email (which you can invoice to the customer). EHF invoice by agreement.
We use the vessel “Miss Fjords” a specially built Øien 710 F with Honda BF 100 hp from April 2025 which is approved for 8 pax + 900 kg of cargo
We operate mainly in the middle part of the Sognefjord: Fjærlandsfjorden - Finnafjorden - Ortnevik - Måren - Arnafjord, Kvamsøy.

- The duration of this tour is 1h . The tour only allows groups of 1-6 peoples
- POSSIBLE DEPARTURE TIMES: 09:00 - 12:00 - 15:00 - 18:00 - Sunday Closed. Private only, tours OPEN ALL YEAR => Use booking form. I check for booking in the morning 8 am and evening 10 am. On daytime i am on adventure with guests, please use SMS. Sunday Closed.

- WHAT TO WEAR (Packing List)? Go by the 3-layer rule: with an outer, water resistant shell jacket (and pants), an inner fleece jacket and a woolen base layer all seasons. It is always colder at sea than on land, even though it is the height of summer it feels cool.

- Rainy weather, waves and such? - We run as normal even if it rains. We operate in fjords which rarely experience significant wind and waves. We have jump-in-suits and boots that keep you warm and dry. The changing weather on our tours is exactly what makes our tours in the Sognefjord so unique.
