Who we are

This statement covers this website: the pages you read and the booking request form. It describes what we handle, why, and the rights you have. It does not cover any other website you may visit from here.

We do not track you

This website does not track visitors. We do not use analytics, advertising tracking, or any other visitor profiling, and we run no advertising technology. We set no analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not build a profile of your visit or your behaviour.

That does not mean no personal data is handled at all: serving a page and sending a booking request always involve some handling, described below. But we do not collect data about your browsing to measure, segment, or target you.

If you visited earlier while analytics were in use, old analytics cookies may still sit in your browser. Those cookies are inactive and are no longer used by this site. You can remove them with your browser’s clear-site-data or cookie controls.

Booking requests

When you send the booking request form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, requested date and time, number of guests, the tour your request concerns, the calculated price and your message. Netlify Forms handles the form and delivers it to us by email, so that we can answer you.

We use these details only to handle your request and the trip it concerns. We do not sell them, and we do not use this form to send marketing email. We keep the correspondence for as long as it is needed to organise and document the trip, and delete it when it is no longer needed. Sending the form does not confirm a booking on its own — we agree the details with you first.

Hosting and technical delivery

This site is hosted by Netlify, which processes the technical data required to serve pages and to forward form submissions. As with any web server, this includes your IP address and the details of your request. The site’s typeface is delivered by altinncdn.no, a font service operated by the Norwegian Digitalisation Agency (Digdir), which receives your IP address to send the font files and sets no cookies.

Third-party services

Our social media and external links are ordinary links. Following one takes you to another service that handles your data under its own policy; we do not load content from those services into this site, and the Search Console verification meta tag is a static file detail, not tracking.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet): https://www.datatilsynet.no/
